  MORE INFORMATION ON THE CONGREGATIONAL CAMPING WEEKEND
Peace’s Family Camping Weekend has been scheduled for June 13-15 at Clear Lake State Park north of Atlanta. Reservations can be made online at   www.michigan.gov/dnr or by calling 1-800-447-2757. We will have a worship service and potluck cookout dinner in the center grassy area on Saturday evening. Join us for the Saturday potluck and worship even if you aren’t camping! It was a lot of fun last year—we hope you can join us again this year!

'This Is Not Oprah’s Reading Group' is continuing its discussion of Cyril of Jerusalem’s lectures on the Creed and Sacraments.
The group meets at the church at 10:00 am on Thursdays, on the following schedule:

  MORE INFORMATION ON THE GAYLORD CROP WALK
The Otsego County CROP Walk was held on Sunday, September 9th. The walk started from the Congregational Church (two blocks south of Main Street on Otsego Avenue).
Last year Peace Lutheran had 45 walkers and collected $3,167.00. This year we had 26 participants, the third greatest number. United Methodist and First Congregational churches captured the Dusty Shoe Award for having the greatest number of walkers -- 27 each. There were 131 walkers in all, raising a total of $11,856.65.

25% of all the money raised will come back to our local food pantry and the rest will be used by Church World Service to support hunger programs throughout the world.

MORE INFORMATION ON LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF
The Quilters Group packaged and sent 16 school kits, 12 health kits, 8 sewing kits, and 8 quilts to Lutheran World Relief. Without your generous contributions these donations wouldn’t have been possible! Thanks to all who contributed, and especially the ladies of the Quilters Group who sorted and packaged all the kits for delivery!
